I'm Jacob Gordon. I'm an entrepreneur, marketer, strategist, writer, and I’m active in community development.

I co-founded the music technology company Artiphon where I served as CMO. I currently lead communications and fundraising for a Brooklyn non-profit, The B.R.O. Experience Foundation, that brings innovative social-emotional learning to young men of color. I also consultant in green real estate (multi-family Passive House). And I sometimes advise tech startups.

I recently completed a year of graduate studies at Bard College’s business school in New York City, the world’s leading sustainability-focused MBA program, earning an Advanced Certificate in Sustainable Business. It made me like spreadsheets so much I’m currently earning a certificate in nonprofit finance through eCornell.

Before the business world I was an environmental journalist and podcaster and I played country music in Nashville. I love photography (mostly analog), meditation retreats (mostly Zen), and books on all manner of things.

Here you’ll find my resume and LinkedIn, and you can reach me here.

I’m currently based in Boston and am in NYC often.
