Between 2006 and 2012 I worked as an environmental journalist covering climate science, emerging technologies, the built environment, and the auto industry. I wrote a cover story for GOOD magazine on transportation, some of Dwell’s first coverage of Passive House, and reported from Japan on the launch of the Nissan Leaf EV.

My main outlet was TreeHugger.com (acquired by Discovery Communications), where I wrote hundreds of pieces covering a wide range.

I also produced and hosted TreeHugger Radio, the site’s first podcast. Although this was before podcasts went mainstream, the program was one of the leading shows on the internet featuring in-depth interviews with environmentally-focused scientists, designers, architects, entrepreneurs, celebrities, authors, and activists.

Here I’ve posted some of my favorites.
